Waldemar Schuppli is a Principal at Econic Partners, based in Copenhagen. He specializes in the application of economic analysis and data science techniques to competition cases, with a focus on assessment of competitive impact of mergers, antitrust and follow-on litigation matters. His consulting work covers a wide range of industries including digital platforms, manufacturing, digital advertising, FMCG’s, among others.
Prior to joining Econic Partners, Waldemar worked as Senior Economist at Compass Lexecon. He has worked on several high-profile multinational mergers, such as Sportrader/IMG Arena, Yokohama Rubber Company/Trelleborg Wheel Systems, Parker Hannifin/Meggitt, Auction Technology Group/LiveAuctioneers, and Aon/Willis Towers Watson.
He has also advised in several antitrust litigations in the digital/tech sector (app stores) and in the manufacturing sector (medical equipment). In the Nordics, he has worked on several conduct matters related to potential investigations from competition authorities as well as Nokas v Loomis in Denmark.
Waldemar holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
