Mai is an Associate at Econic Partners, based in Brussels. She has substantial experience in competition economics, with a focus on merger control, damages quantification, and abuse of dominance cases.
Her project work spans a diverse range of industries, including digital platforms, telecommunications, financial services, and transportation.
Prior to joining Econic Partners, Mai spent four years in the EMEA Competition and Antitrust practice at Compass Lexecon and also worked as a consultant for the OECD.
Mai holds a PhD in Economics from KU Leuven and an MSc in Economics from the Paris School of Economics. She is fluent in Russian, English, and French, and speaks conversational Vietnamese.
