Econic Partners is thrilled to announce that Catalina Campillo has joined the firm as a Partner. Recognized as a Future Leader in Lexology’s Competition Economics Index and a Rising Star by W@Competition, Catalina’s appointment further bolsters Econic’s continued expansion across Europe.

Catalina specializes in the application of economic analysis and econometric techniques for competition policy cases, including the assessment of the competitive effects of mergers, the impact of cartels, market definition and abuse of dominance investigations. She has advised clients in high-profile mergers before the European Commission and other competition authorities around the globe.

Catalina also brings extensive experience on damage estimation, including recent work following the heavy truck manufacturers infringement and the ethylene infringement. She has submitted expert reports to Commercial Courts in Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands, and given expert testimony before multiple Commercial Courts in Spain.
