Econic Partners is proud to announce that Professor Kilian Huber has joined the firm as a Senior Consultant. Professor Huber is a Professor of Economics at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a renowned economist who studies the interplay between the financial sector and the real economy.
Professor Huber’s recent honors include the Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship and the Lamfalussy Fellowship of the European Central Bank. Prior to his professorship, he was the inaugural Saieh Family Fellow at the University of Chicago Becker Friedman Institute.
Professor Huber has published extensively in leading academic journals, including the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and the Journal of Political Economy. In his academic work, Dr. Huber has analyzed how businesses make investment decisions based on financial markets; how firm behavior affects workers, competitors, and suppliers; how bank mergers and credit shocks influence the real economy; and how discrimination and individual managers impact the performance of businesses.
The addition of Professor Huber strengthens Econic’s rapid growth as the home of the most respected economists in the industry, furthering the firm’s mission to deliver cutting-edge academic insight with real-world expertise for our growing client base.

It is people like Kilian who help us fulfill that promise.
