Econic Partners LLC is thrilled to announce that Dr. Christopher Taylor has joined the firm as a Partner. Dr. Taylor served in the government for three decades, ultimately serving as an Assistant Director within the Bureau of Economics at the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) where he led a team of approximately 40 Ph.D. economists, financial analysts, and research analysts. Dr. Taylor directly supervised the selection, design, and implementation of antitrust investigations and research projects, while also leading litigation teams on a wide variety of cases in Federal District Court and on Part III matters before the FTC Administrative Law Judge. While at the FTC, he won numerous awards for individual excellence, as well as a dozen team awards for specific cases and projects.
Dr. Taylor’s research on industrial organization, antitrust, and international trade has been widely published by leading economic journals including the American Economic Review, The Journal of Law and Economics, The Journal of Industrial Economics, Journal of International Economics, International Journal of Industrial Organization,and the Review of Industrial Organization.
