Jonathan Foster is the founder and managing partner of Current Capital Partners LLC, a mergers and acquisition advisory, corporate management services, and private equity co-investment firm. Among other prior positions, he was at Lazard for some ten years, ultimately as a Managing Director. He has been on the boards of more than 50 companies. In addition, as an expert witness in major corporate litigation, Jon has filed expert reports in some 60 cases, as well as been deposed and testified in court and arbitration about M&A, valuation, governance, and distressed company issues. His book, On Board: The Modern Playbook for Corporate Governance, was published by Radius in Summer 2025. He has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Emory University and a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics. Jon has two grown children and lives in New York City with his wife and golden doodle.
