Mr. Nikolov is a Senior Principal at Econic Partners based in Chicago.
Mr. Nikolov specializes in financial modeling and analyses, valuation, solvency, and damages across a wide range of industries. He has more than 20 years of experience in litigation and regulatory matters involving appraisals, breach of fiduciary duty and contracts, bankruptcy, fraudulent conveyance, insider trading, material adverse effects and other post-merger disputes, alleged financial misstatements, and wrongful disclosures.
Mr. Nikolov has supported leading testifying experts in high-profile litigation disputes. His work has spanned complex commercial, antitrust, securities, valuation, intellectual property, and damages matters in federal and state courts, arbitration proceedings, and regulatory proceedings.
Prior to joining Econic Partners, Mr. Nikolov held senior consulting roles at Charles River Associates, Navigant Economics, and Bates White.
Mr. Nikolov completed the Ph.D. coursework in the Accounting Information and Management program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He received his M.S. in Economics from Sofia University/ Erasmus University Rotterdam and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM), Sofia, Bulgaria. Mr. Nikolov is fluent in Bulgarian (native), English, and Russian.
