Ricardo Cossa is an economist with over 25 years of experience providing services in litigation support and complex data analysis. He specializes in economic disputes involving antitrust, labor and employment discrimination, valuation of financial instruments, and general damages assessments.
Throughout his career, Dr. Cossa has developed and implemented sophisticated models to quantify damages in cases related to alleged anti-competitive behavior, employment practices, and discrimination. His analytical work also spans broker trading activity, financial instrument valuation, and assessing price impacts in proposed mergers and acquisitions.
Dr. Cossa has worked in cases across a wide range of industries, including high technology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, financial services, health care, retail, and agriculture. His academic contributions include research in education and labor economics.
Before joining Econic Partners, Dr. Cossa was a Principal in the Antitrust & Competition Economics Practice at Charles River Associates, a Director and Principal at Navigant Economics (formerly Chicago Partners), and a consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank.
Dr. Cossa received his Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago, and his B.A. in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina.
