As a leading academic expert, Professor Piccolo brings deep expertise advising clients on antitrust, competition, and regulatory matters, with particular expertise in digital platforms, cartels, vertical restraints, distribution, and information economics.
Professor Piccolo is a Professor of Economics at the University of Bergamo and a member of CSEF, with his work combining rigorous theoretical and empirical analysis to address complex issues in litigation, investigations, mergers, and policy matters. His research has been published extensively across every major academic journal, including the American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, Management Science, RAND Journal of Economics, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of the European Economic Association, and Journal of Economic Theory.
