Matt Schmitt is a Partner based in Washington, DC. He specializes in antitrust & competition matters. He holds a PhD in Managerial Economics & Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Before joining the private sector, he was a faculty member at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, where he conducted academic research and taught Business Strategy and Data Analytics. His academic research has been published in several leading journals, including the American Economic Review, the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, and the Antitrust Law Journal.
