In November 2025, DNOW Inc. completed its $1.5 billion acquisition of MRC Global after receiving clearances from antitrust regulators in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Norway. The combined entity provides services and solutions to energy, gas, utility, and industrial customers.
The Econic Partners team was led by Loren Smith and Chris Rybak in the U.S. and Gianmarco Calanchi in Europe, and included Megan Sullivan, Jeffrey Tan, Alexandre Maron and James Sood. Econic Partners worked closely with Kirkland and Ellis, which represented DNOW.
