On May 1, 2026, Zayo Group Holdings Inc. (“Zayo”) completed its acquisition of Crown Castle Inc.’s (“Crown Castle”) fiber business and EQT Active Core Infrastructure fund (“EQT”) closed its acquisition of Crown Castle’s small cells business, after these transactions valued at $8.5 billion were reviewed by the Department of Justice.
Founding Partner Jon Orszag and Dr. Glenn Woroch were retained by Zayo and its outside counsel, Jones Day, and by EQT and its outside counsel, Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett, to advise on antitrust issues. Mihir Narain led a team at Econic, including Dr. Josephine Xu, Ruchika Roy, Rachel Miller, Andres Strauss, Olivia Smathers, Noah Harrigan, Yulu Gu, Avery DiMaria, Carlos Paez, and Lina Hong. The team worked closely with counsel, including J.
